We Went to the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Again.

In a growing tradition, the Rumblestrip admins have once again decided to travel from far and wide to meet up at the IMSA season opener, The Rolex 24 at Daytona. This time I (AJ Allen) was joined by Bob Grant, his colleague Darren and Kevin Binkley in the 4 day, non-stop racing binge. It’s always fun to spend some time at the track with your race mates even when the weather isn’t so fun. The day 1 start of the race stayed dry and I was able to pull off some photo goodness deep into the night around the track and into the pits. On Sunday, we were not as lucky as we all witnessed the worst rains per a Daytona 24 hour race yet to date causing the race to be ended early. If you haven’t seen the results click here. Hopefully our new tradition will continue and we encourage our members to participate in the shenanigans of non-stop drinking, bon-fire smoke inhalation, sleepless night, endless walking, ..and drinking with us during the season opener of the Rolex next year.
